Most recently, he served as the investment director of a leading London-based private equity fund with more than USD 2 billion assets under management. Previously, he worked as Head of Project Finance at SOCAR, responsible for the development, structuring and financing Group’s investment projects, including Trans Anatolian Pipeline (TANAP), Star Refinery and Petlim Port.
Prior to joining SOCAR, he worked as an project and acquisition finance manager at Garanti Bank, where he originated, executed and closed several transactions, including Aksa Energy’s Goynuk Local Coal Fired Power Plant project, Fina Energy’s wind power plant portfolio (Sadilli WPP, Salman WPP, Gunaydin WPP, Kizilcaterzi WPP, Karadere WPP), AES Entek’s Ayas Imported Coal Fired PP, Gural Porselen’s Gudul HPP, and CLK Energy’s acquisition of Bogazici and Akdeniz Electiricity Distribution privatization.
Alper studied economics at Harvard University and Bogazici University, and received his Masters in Finance degree at London Business School. He speaks English and Turkish.

He is a well established figure in the investor community having worked closely with family offices and private equity funds. He has raised equity, mezzanine and senior debt for projects he owns, or has participated in as a sponsor. Parvin has successfully developed a wide network of businessmen, investors and bankers around the world, which enables him to access various investment opportunities that are not typically publicly available.
Serkan is the co-founder and managing partner of Lydus Partners & Co.
He has more than 15 years of investment experience in debt and equity capital markets. Previously, he was a senior investment manager at Capital Markets and Treasury Department of Landesbank.
He currently sits on the advisory board of a number of investment firms and advising on country and market risk related matters. He is also the lecturer of Advanced Macroeconomics course at Berlin School of Economics.
He received his BA and MA degrees in International Economics from Berlin School of Economics. He speaks English, German and Turkish.
Volkan has 6 years of banking and finance experience, spanning from credit risk management to financial audit and project finance.
Most recently, he was part of Project Finance team of Yapı Kredi Unicredit in Turkey, mainly responsible for the origination & execution of energy project financings as well as debt restructuring of Bank’s energy portfolio. During the restructuring of Bank’s USD 2 billion risks over Bereket Enerji Grubu, Volkan provided leading edge as the core team member.
Prior to Yapı Kredi Unicredit, Volkan had internal audit & risk management career at Garanti Bank BBVA for 4 years, Volkan gained broad experience in non-performing loans and banking sector in general. He managed audit teams performing financial, operational, loan & security audits, along with extensive audit of bank’s departments and subsidiaries.
Volkan received his master’s degree in Banking and Finance at Istanbul Bilgi University, and studied Business Administration at Dokuz Eylul University. He speaks English, German and Turkish.
Candas joined Lydus Partners & Co. as an Associate. Prior to joining Lydus, he worked as a Market and Structural Risk Auditor in Garanti BBVA.
He has more than 4 years of banking and finance experience. He gained broad experience in Asset and Liability Management, Loan Portfolio Evaluation and Financial Due Diligence of high exposure of local and global corporate clients and acted as a team leader in more than 15 projects in both Turkey and Europe.
He is graduated from Bilkent University Department of Economics with honors and completed his Masters in Finance degree at Koc University Graduate School of Business with a distinction. He is fluent in English and Turkish.
Idil joined Lydus Partners & Co. as an Analyst, where she focuses on debt restructuring and mergers and acquisitions particularly in healthcare and energy sectors in EMEA. Prior to joining Lydus, she worked as a business development analyst in the healthcare sector and assisted the acquisition of several hospitals. Idil also worked closely with the finance team during the company’s investments in public private partnership projects. Idil holds a MSc degree from Imperial College Business School and studied Law at King’s College London and SOAS, University of London. She is fluent in English, French and Turkish.
Ogulcan joined Lydus Partners & Co. as an Analyst. Prior to joining Lydus, he worked as an Associate in Financial Advisory Services at Deloitte. He has 2 years of Transaction Services experience and conducted financial and vendor due diligence in various M&A deals within banking, insurance, manufacturing, technology, energy and consumer business industries with a total transaction value of c. USD 3.5 billion.
Ogulcan holds double major degree in Business Administration and Economics from Koc University and studied in Hawaii Pacific University in USA. He speaks English and Turkish.
